An Epistle to my Wu Jen, Master Kitaro Fujiama

Salutations my dear and treasured Master and Mentor,

I send you greetings of long life, many scrolls and the leisure to fill them and report I am among a mercenary band led by a gentleman commonly called Henry Darger, a.k.a. Cazimir Syzygy, out of Dragon Rock.

I have been hired for my piloting skills though my knowledge and fighting skills have been equally utilized. We seek a man named Vanth Vanderboren, a man wanted for the murder of his parents though I fear we may have stumbled onto greater doings than seemingly simple murder. Apparantly murder is the tip of the ice berg where this "gentleman" is concerned.

All this is background for news I have to report. During our travels, we were on a dolphin ship heading to Realmspace in order to return to Dragon Rock. We suffered a severe attack of turbulence and was forced to follow in the undertow of a larger ship unaffected by the turbulence. Unfortunately, I believe this ship was "The" Spelljammer of lore. Perhaps this young and foolish kitten is mistaken but all the crew and the members of my merry band believe likewise.

I am most afraid Master. I understand that this ship is only sighted in times of great, monumental change and I and my fellows have passed in its shadow so to speak. I humbly request any advice you may wish to share with this person or failing that, any information that might help in the future in regard to this matter.

I may as well tell you its a house of ill-repute but expediency dictates my new address as the two main members of our band resides there. The ladies there are quite kind to me and there is no danger of my honor being stained, except perhaps by association. And one has many associates in one's life as you have told me in the past so I fear not such a superficial thing.
